Questions people ask before spending $3.99.
How long does my text stay up?
Until someone else buys the last word. There's no minimum and no maximum. A quiet hour can be long; a busy one can flip it every few seconds. The longest anyone has held it is shown at the bottom of the page.
What happens right after I pay?
Your text goes on the wall instantly and you're taken to a page that shows it live, counts how long it's been up, and tells you when someone replaces it.
Who sees it?
Everyone who has the site open, all at the same moment. There's one wall and one text; there are no feeds, profiles or timelines. The number at the top is how many people are looking right now.
What do people use it for?
Birthday wishes, proposals, a shop announcing a sale, a class saying goodbye to a teacher, apologies, inside jokes, dares, and a surprising number of hellos to mom. There's no theme. If you have one sentence for the internet, this is where it goes.
Can I choose how it looks?
Yes. Pick one of twelve background colors and one of four fonts before you pay. The text itself is always white so it stays readable on every color.
Can I put my name, my business, or my brand in it?
Yes. Names are fine; links aren't. "come to Sam's Bakery this saturday" works. "samsbakery.com" doesn't. People will find you if they want to.
Can I get a refund if it's replaced quickly?
No. You're paying for the moment, not the duration. If you were charged and your text never appeared, email us with your receipt and we'll fix it.
What can't I post?
Links, domains, and phone numbers are blocked at the door. Slurs, harassment, threats, and personal information about other people are removed when we see them, without a refund.
Can I share it?
Share the site's address anywhere. The link preview shows whatever is on the wall at that moment, in its own color, so it changes as the wall changes.
Who sees what I paid?
Nobody. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your card number, and we don't show who paid for which text.
Can I buy it more than once?
As many times as you like. Each purchase replaces whatever is up, including your own text.
