Terms of use
Last updated September 14, 2026. By using lastword.page or buying a text you agree to the following.
What you’re buying
A purchase places your text on the lastword.page home page immediately after payment clears. It remains there until another purchase replaces it. We do not guarantee any minimum display time, any number of viewers, or that the site will be available at any particular moment.
No refunds
All purchases are final, including texts that are replaced quickly and texts we remove for breaking these terms. If you were charged and your text never appeared because of a fault on our side, contact us and we will refund you.
Content rules
You may not post text that:
- contains links, domains, phone numbers, or other contact details;
- contains slurs, hate speech, threats, or harassment of any person or group;
- reveals private information about anyone, including names paired with locations or employers;
- is sexual content involving minors, or promotes self-harm, terrorism, or illegal activity;
- impersonates a person, company, or official notice;
- infringes someone else’s rights or breaks any law.
We may remove any text at any time, for any reason, without refund. Automated filters block some content before payment; passing those filters is not approval.
License
You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us a worldwide, royalty-free license to display it onlastword.page, in previews and social cards for the site, and in promotional material about the site.
Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe under its own terms. We never receive your full card details. Prices are in US dollars and include any applicable fees unless stated otherwise at checkout.
Liability
The service is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of the site or from any text displayed on it. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous thirty days.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
